Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GIS Telecom & Utility Network Specialist to join our partners team. This role involves the development, management, and analysis of geographic information system (GIS) data related to telecommunications and utility networks.
Duties
• Develop and maintain detailed3 GIS datasets for telecom and utility networks, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Utilize tools such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and CAD software for drafting, mapping, and spatial analysis.
• Conduct land surveying activities using GPS technology to collect precise location data for network assets.
• Develop scripts using Python, JavaScript, or scripting APIs to automate workflows and enhance data integration.
• Experience
• Proven experience working with 3 GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and related spatial analysis tools.
• Strong background in land surveying techniques, GPS data collection, and CAD drafting practices.
• Proficiency in database management using SQL, relational databases, and data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, or similar for automation purposes.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, CAD software, and construction documentation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex spatial datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Knowledge of telecom and utility infrastructure projects from planning through construction phases.
