Role Overview
As part of a high‑performing and collaborative commercial team, you will be responsible for enhancing the competitiveness and availability of our hotel product across an assigned portfolio. Your focus will be on optimising overall performance through strong supplier relationships, effective commercial actions, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Renegotiate commercial conditions with hotel suppliers to maximise availability, offers, and best available rates.
- Ensure accurate loading of all commercial conditions with a high level of system expertise.
- Obtain new offers and additional availability directly loaded into the system by the supplier.
- Apply targeted commercial actions to improve product performance, using insights from company dashboards and analytics.
- Prioritise initiatives based on data trends, opportunities, and risks within your assigned portfolio.
- Proactively manage daily contact with assigned hotel suppliers, ensuring strong communication and consistent alignment.
- Drive supplier engagement to secure competitive market conditions and timely updates.
- Work closely with the Contracting Manager to support cohesive commercial strategies.
- Share market insights, supplier updates, and performance findings to maximise team efficiency and success.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in commercial, contracting, procurement, or hotel supply management (travel industry preferred).
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence in supplier-facing communication.
- High level of accuracy when managing commercial loading and system inputs.
- Able to interpret data dashboards and use insights to inform actions.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a dynamic supplier portfolio.
- Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions‑focused approach.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Able to build strong supplier relationships and maintain clear communication channels.
- Driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced commercial environment.
