Job Description Analyst, Health Strategy Planning & Partnerships Health Services - Health Strategy, Planning & Partnerships Status: • (1) Contract Full Time (Duration: 13 months) • (1) Contract Full Time (Duration: 9 months) Salary Range: $92,151 - $115,189 Hiring Range: $92,151 - $103,670 Work Mode: Hybrid *see below for more details about this work mode. Location: 7120 Hurontario Street, Mississauga Hours of work: 35 hours/week  What you will do in this role:  The Analyst works within a multidisciplinary team to support the development of strategic, business, operational, advocacy and community plans that advance Health Services priorities.  You will collaborate with internal and external partners on complex initiatives and provide project support on a range of strategic projects aligned with Health Services’ strategic vision and the Region’s priorities.  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to support health services outcomes • Supporting community engagement initiatives that elevate community voices, lived experience and co-design solutions • Developing and maintaining partnerships, coalitions and working groups with community and system partners • Supporting advocacy initiatives and action plans aligned with Health Services priorities • Facilitating meetings, working groups and collaborative tables with internal and external partners • Managing and supporting projects, ensuring delivery within defined timelines, scope, budget and quality standards • Preparing project plans and acting as project lead, committee chair or advisor on departmental initiatives as required • Supporting program planning, performance monitoring and evaluation processes • Monitoring trends across the health and community sectors in Ontario and identifying emerging risks, opportunities and policy developments • Applying knowledge of population health, health equity and the social determinants of health to support evidence-based decision making • Conducting research and environmental scans and synthesizing findings to inform strategic planning, policy, advocacy and programming • Analyzing data and information to identify emerging issues and inform policy and program recommendations • Monitoring the public policy environment and assessing implications for Health Services and the community • Supporting change management and organizational learning initiatives across the department • Preparing presentations, briefing materials, research summaries and policy documents • Preparing documentation for senior leadership and Regional Council, including Council report content and recommendations • Ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion principles are integrated into research, policy analysis, community engagement and project work • Providing guidance or training to staff and students when required • Performing other duties as assigned What the role requires: • Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration or Public Policy combined with 5 years of relevant experience (i.e., project management, change management, analysis and interpretation, facilitation, advocacy and government relations, client/community relationship management and consultation), or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior and executive management, health professionals, community partners, all levels of government, other departments, staff and stakeholders • Excellent facilitation skills with sound knowledge of facilitation techniques • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences • Strong project management, partnership/collaboration, planning, problem-solving, evaluation and organizational skills • Ability to think strategically and take an integrated approach to work • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement timely solutions to complex problems • Ability to maintain focus, energy and commitment while navigating uncertainty, change and resistance • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a variety of situations and with diverse individuals and groups • Ability to encourage innovative approaches to emerging problems and changing client needs • Client-centered philosophy and approach • Ability to organize, evaluate, analyze and present information effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and organize resources effectively • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise discretion and diplomacy • Ability to work independently with minimal direction • Join us.  Work Mode & Job Location: Hybrid; at 7120 Hurontario Street, Mississauga  In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time.  It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario.
