Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and strategy.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents
• Manage a varied caseload across multiple practice areas
• Assist in negotiations with opposing counsel or clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
• Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials by organizing case files and evidence.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and ensure timely compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate effectively within the law office environment to ensure seamless workflow and excellent client service.
Qualifications
• Active Florida attorney license with proven experience practicing law in the state.
• Demonstrated expertise in estate planning, environmental law, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law
• Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw or LexisNexis platforms to gather relevant legal information efficiently.
• Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive documents.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and administrative tasks within a busy law office setting.
• Effective negotiation skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis is highly preferred. Pay: $100,707.95 - $160,000.00 per year
