Akkodis is seeking an Azure infra-Architect for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC(Remote). The candidate must have proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade Azure Landing Zone architecture.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Infra-Architect Job Responsibilities Include Lead current‑state discovery across tenants, subscriptions, resources, identities, and dependencies to determine platform readiness and modernization needs.
Design and evolve enterprise‑grade Azure Landing Zone architectures, including guardrails, controls, and standardized operating models.
Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code standards by creating reusable modules, enforcing coding patterns, and integrating delivery through CI/CD pipelines.
Engineer monitoring, alerting, and observability baselines for production workloads while establishing dashboards and integration points with enterprise tools.
Develop automated subscription vending and provisioning processes that enable scalable, self‑service cloud adoption.
Produce comprehensive design documents, diagrams, and operational runbooks to support handover and long‑term platform sustainability.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Azure infrastructure architecture and platform engineering.
Demonstrated capability in designing and deploying enterprise Azure Landing Zones, including platform guardrails and standardized operating models.
Proven expertise in Infrastructure‑as‑Code delivery using Terraform and in establishing monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for production workloads.
