Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking / FinTech and hands-on exposure to the Q2 Digital Banking Platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to support consumer and commercial banking implementations.
Mandatory Requirements
-6–8 years of overall Business Analyst experience
-Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience with Q2
-Strong understanding of banking and FinTech domain
-Experience working in US time zones
Preferred Skills
-Strong working knowledge of the Q2 Digital Banking Platform
-Experience with consumer and commercial banking systems
-Familiarity with compliance, transaction flows, and banking integrations
Roles & Responsibilities
-Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for consumer and commercial banking implementations (Q2 knowledge preferred)
-Develop detailed use cases, test plans, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications
-Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for banking implementations (Q2 preferred)
-Validate message formats, field-level mappings, and transaction flows to ensure compliance
-Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA
-Coordinate with developers and vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery
-Perform regression testing and support production validation
-Provide regular status updates and testing metrics to stakeholders
-Support training and knowledge transfer sessions for business users
Nice to Have
-Prior experience on large-scale digital banking implementations
-Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven projects
-Note: Candidates with prior Q2 platform experience will be highly preferred.
