They are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate leads for the Sales team, communicate the value of information security, and connect prospects with sales professionals. This entry-level position offers growth potential into higher sales roles and involves proactive engagement with prospects across various channels.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engaging with prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn messaging, and record activity in CRM software
- Building quality lists and conducting research on targeted companies and contacts
- Partnering with Account Executives to develop specific industries as desired leads, call specific targeted accounts, and building relationships with key decision makers
- Qualify outbound and inbound leads to provide Account Executives with better qualified opportunities to present formal sales presentation
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the Sales team through effective communication and periodic follow-up
- Achieving monthly and quarterly quota goals
- Regularly testing and innovating sales techniques and strategies for securing new accounts
- Learning and building upon knowledge of FRSecure and our service offerings
- Actively practice handling objections and effectively communicating the organization’s value
- Creating effective sequences and marketing based material
Skills
- Basic knowledge and understanding of FRSecure services and working to ensure that services consistently meet client needs

- Proven ability to develop relationships, as an active listener who takes a genuine interest in client needs and goals
- Comfortable initiating conversations, especially in person or over the phone

- Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite products
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior sales, marketing, or customer success experience preferred
