Business Development Representative – Solar (Work From Home)

We are hiring experienced fully remote Business Development Representatives to speak with U.S. homeowners about rising electricity costs and programs that help lower their monthly electric bill through solar energy. This is the same type of solar energy model used by large companies like Costco to reduce electricity costs, where the customer does not purchase the system but instead pays for the power it produces at a lower rate. Important This is NOT a closing position. You will NOT present proposals. You will NOT ask for contracts or close deals. Your role is to educate, qualify, and set appointments for our Account Executives, who will review a customized savings report with the homeowner. We are looking for professionals with prior sales or call center experience who can perform immediately. About The Solar Program This is not traditional solar sales. • Homeowners do NOT buy panels • No cash purchase • No loan • No financing Our company installs and owns the solar system, similar to how a utility company installs power lines and infrastructure. The homeowner simply: • Uses the power produced by the panels • Pays a lower, protected electricity rate • Saves money compared to their current utility bill It is a utility style energy program designed to reduce monthly expenses without upfront cost. What You Will Be Doing • Calling and speaking with homeowners through warm and outbound outreach • Educating them on rising electricity costs • Explaining the solar savings program in simple, clear terms • Qualifying homeowners based on clear criteria such as homeownership and bill amount • Setting confirmed appointments for an Account Executive to review a personalized savings report Your responsibility is to control the conversation, handle objections confidently, create urgency, and secure the appointment. Compensation • $15 per hour • Performance bonuses • Consistent schedule • Steady work What We Are Looking For • Strong English communication skills • Prior sales, appointment setting, or outbound call experience • Ability to confidently handle objections • Comfortable speaking with U.S. homeowners • Reliable high speed internet • Quiet, professional home workspace • Coachable but able to perform quickly We are not looking for beginners who need months to ramp up.
