Description The Fractional COO will provide sr-level operational leadership to support The Contractor Consultants’ rapid growth and executive scale-up. This role partners closely with the founders and CEO to strengthen governance, HR, legal coordination, and executive decision-making—enhancing existing systems rather than rebuilding them. The COO will expand leadership capacity during a critical growth phase as the company prepares for long-term scalability and potential investor or private equity engagement. Experience with SaaS, subscription‑based, or services platforms will help accelerate onboarding and strategic impact but is not required to rebuild existing systems. The role is focused on strengthening and scaling what is already working. Required Education, Certifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred 10–15+ years of progressive sr operations leadership Prior experience as COO, VP of Operations, or Head of Operations Demonstrated experience scaling organizations through rapid growth (startup to 200+ employees) Proven collaboration with HR, legal, and finance leadership teams Key Attributes of Success Executive‑level judgment and decision‑making in fast‑paced environments Ability to operate as an extension of founders, not a replacement Strong prioritization and comfort managing ambiguity Trusted advisor mindset with hands‑on execution capability Ability to balance strategic planning with practical, near‑term execution Comfortable leading in a fully remote, distributed organization Desired / Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with recruiting, staffing, or workforce services Exposure to private equity, investor discussions, or due diligence preparation BG in compensation planning, incentive programs, or equity structures Experience in founder‑led or bootstrapped organizations Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM / operational platforms Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $250.00 - $250.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
