As a Cloud Network Architect, you will:
- Design and architect secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructures for cloud and hybrid environments.
- Develop and execute network strategies to support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Security teams to embed networking designs into comprehensive cloud solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend networking tools and services that align with business and technical needs in the cloud.
- Ensure network designs meet compliance standards and align with industry security best practices.
- Produce thorough documentation including network architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network architecture, including at least 3 years focused specifically on cloud networking.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- In-depth expertise in cloud networking services such as VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, VPNs, security groups, firewalls, and Direct Connect / ExpressRoute.
- Strong command of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, and IPsec.
You Should Possess the Ability To:
- Lead cloud network architecture initiatives that emphasize security, performance, and scalability.
- Integrate modern networking practices into DevOps and cloud-native environments.
- Automate network-related tasks and workflows using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understand and apply concepts from container networking, including Kubernetes and service mesh solutions.
- Use network observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch to ensure infrastructure reliability.
- Contribute to Zero Trust or SASE-based network strategies and deployments.
