Commercial HVAC Service Technician

This position is a remote position that is supported through our Charlotte, NC office. We are looking to add to our team by placing a service technician with Commercial HVAC Service experience. in this position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting units ranging from 2-70 tons. Roles and Responsibilities The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below: Work as a team to fulfill customers needs Perform preventative maintenance at Commercial/Industrial sites Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment Assist with unit installations Log HVAC equipment such as refrigerant circuit, electrical circuit, condition of equipment, etc. Ability to braze, perform leak searches, and evacuation process. Understands the commercial DX equipment up to/over 25 tons, exhaust systems, heat pumps, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, electric motor controls, etc. Complete log sheets for customers as needed Be responsive to supervisors and dispatching. Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company. Be able to perform at a high level without direct supervision. Qualifications and Requirements 3 years minimum experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician High School GED Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed Universal EPA Certification Ability to understand equipment specifications. Demonstrated experience in understanding basic refrigerant cycle, various heating component, and air distribution systems. Ability to communicate effectively with customers Always represent the company well.
