Senior Conversion Developer
The Senior Conversion Developer is responsible for analyzing, mapping, transforming, and migrating client data from legacy appraisal and tax systems into True Prodigy’s platform. This role works closely with internal development teams, client services, and client stakeholders to understand existing data structures, resolve inconsistencies, and deliver accurate, scalable conversion solutions.
This is a senior-level individual contributor role for someone who can independently manage complex conversion work, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate brings strong data migration expertise, a disciplined approach to data quality, and the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar systems and domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy databases, schemas, and source data to understand client system structure and behavior
- Map source data to target system fields and business rules within True Prodigy’s platform
- Design, develop, test, and validate data conversion processes
- Investigate inconsistent, incomplete, or nonstandard data and determine accurate, practical solutions
- Work directly with internal teams and client stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate assumptions
- Perform data profiling, reconciliation, exception handling, and post-conversion validation
- Identify risks and data integrity issues early and communicate them clearly
- Manage multiple conversion projects or phases simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines
- Contribute to improving conversion methodologies, tools, and documentation
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members when needed

- Experience validating large datasets and resolving data quality issues
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in property appraisal, tax systems, or government data environments is a plus, but not required if strong conversion experience is demonstrated
