Cruise Ship Field Service Technician

If you're a hands-on maintainer who thrives working independently and wants to see the world while you work, this role is built for you. You'll service and repair water treatment systems on cruise ships at ports across the globe — from Alaska to Australia to the Mediterranean. No micromanagement, real responsibility, and a company credit card with travel points that are yours to keep. What You'll Do: - Perform on-site installation, preventative maintenance, service, and repair of potable and non-potable water treatment systems aboard cruise ships - Conduct pre-installation site surveys with minimal supervision - Perform chemistry and pH analysis on water treatment systems at ports worldwide - Train on-board ship staff on proper equipment operation - Report to the Fort Lauderdale shop when not traveling for bench maintenance and related duties Requirements - Strong mechanical maintenance skills with hands-on tool proficiency - Ability to work independently and manage your time without being micro-managed - Passport-eligible (must be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport) - Availability to travel 8–14 days per month, with increased travel May–September Benefits - Medical - 401 with 1 to 1 match up to the first 3% - Daily Per Diem when traveling, amount based on port - Company credit where you redeem points
