About the Role: Aetna Medicaid Member Services Representative
As a Member Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for Aetna Medicaid members and providers, addressing their inquiries and concerns via phone. Your exceptional customer service skills will shine as you navigate a range of topics, including eligibility, provider changes, and ID card requests. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding experiences and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound calls from members and providers, addressing their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate and helpful information regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, and extra benefits and programs.
- Utilize our systems and tools to resolve member inquiries, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
- Work from home with a reliable high-speed internet connection (via ethernet cable) and company-provided equipment.
- Participate in training and ongoing development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends.
Essential Qualifications:
- Reside within 50 miles of Charleston, WV (commuting to the office may be required in certain circumstances).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members and providers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a call center environment, preferably in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs, including their benefits and services.
- Experience working in a healthcare or insurance setting, with knowledge of industry terminology and concepts.
