Key Responsibilities
As an arenaflex Customer Service Representative, you will be empowered to take ownership of a wide spectrum of duties that directly influence store performance and customer happiness. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Engagement: Greet every customer with a warm, approachable demeanor; proactively offer assistance and answer product‑related inquiries.
- Merchandise Assistance: Guide shoppers in locating items, suggest alternatives, and educate them on product features and promotions.
- Transaction Management: Accurately process sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and ensure the integrity of each transaction.
- Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked floor; replenish shelves, arrange displays, and ensure signage is current and accurate.
- Back‑Room Operations: Receive deliveries, unload merchandise, sort and transport goods from the stockroom to the sales floor, and verify item counts against invoices.
- Safety & Security: Stay vigilant of customer activity, promptly address any safety concerns, and support loss‑prevention initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with fellow associates, managers, and inventory specialists to achieve daily operational goals.

Essential Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following baseline requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a demonstrated ability to understand and follow retail operational guidelines.
- Retail Experience: Prior work in retail, hospitality, food service, grocery, or pharmacy settings is advantageous, providing insight into fast‑paced customer interactions.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 40 lb regularly and occasionally up to 55 lb, as well as perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting tasks.
- Availability: Flexible schedule including full‑time availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store staffing needs.
- Core Skills: Strong customer focus, results‑driven mindset, excellent communication, problem‑solving ability, and robust organizational skills.
