About the Role: Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our brand, interacting with customers daily, and providing them with a memorable shopping experience. This is a part-time day shift opportunity, available on all days, offering you the flexibility you need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome in our store.
- Operate the register and cashier with accuracy and efficiency.
- Make purchase suggestions to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Work with our food program to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of store appearance, both inside and out.
- Provide fast and friendly service to customers, ensuring their queries are addressed promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily goals and objectives.
- Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
To excel as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining a high level of customer service.

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous retail and customer service experience.
- Sales associate or cashiering experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A motivation to advance in your career and take on new challenges.
- A willingness to learn and have fun in a dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift.
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
- Bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour in a shift.
- Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination.
- Climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs.
