We are a Detroit-based creative strategy agency and cultural intelligence studio. We work with brands, institutions, and organizations to translate data and cultural insight into experiences that actually moves people. Our work spans brand research, campaign performance analysis, market intelligence, and consumer behavior, across industries and across audiences that most firms aren't paying close enough attention to. We are growing and need analytical support that can keep pace with us. What We Need We are looking for a mid-level data analyst to join us on a part-time contract basis. This person will support ongoing client reporting, help us build and maintain dashboards, and work alongside our strategy team to pull the insight out of the numbers. You do not need to know our industry inside and out on day one, but you do need to be someone who is genuinely curious about what the data is actually saying and not just what it looks like on the surface. We are a small, fast-moving team and we need someone who can communicate findings clearly to both internal strategists and external clients. What You'll Be Working On •Building and maintaining client-facing reports and performance dashboards • Analyzing campaign, social media, and market research data to surface trends and actionable insights • Supporting the strategy team with data pulls, custom analyses, and quick-turn research requests • Helping us develop cleaner, more repeatable reporting systems as we scale • Presenting findings in a way that is clear, visual, and accessible to non-technical stakeholders You Are a Strong Fit If You Have... • 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field • Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) • Comfort working with social media metrics, survey data, or consumer research datasets • Experience writing clear, concise summaries that translate data into plain language recommendations • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without a lot of hand-holding • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style Bonus Points For... • Experience working inside an agency or consulting environment • Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, Brandwatch, or other social listening platforms • SQL or Python experience for more complex data work • Background supporting multicultural or diverse consumer audience research Engagement Details This is a part-time contract role, roughly 10 to 20 hours per week depending on project load. We are open to hourly or project-based arrangements. The right person will have the opportunity to grow with us as our needs expand. We value reliability, clear communication, and people who take ownership of their work. We have a strong preference for candidates based in Atlanta, Detroit, or Toronto. Not a dealbreaker, but we like having the option to get in a room together when it counts.
