This role involves verifying quality and technical requirements for various projects and managing supplier relationships within the APX Supply Chain. Responsibilities - Supplier Assessment:Support Supplier Identification and down selection - Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations (as needed) - Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations (as needed) - Support Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements) - Schedule and support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings - Supplier Oversight:Support creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule - Support coordination and execution of Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points - Support the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations - Supplier Development & Management:Create Agendas and support Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers - Schedule and support regularly scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly, etc.) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members - Support Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution - Support execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points - Schedule and support pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities - Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices (as needed) - Provide periodic Project Schedule Updates - Provide input for periodic Customer Status Updates - Ensure all required Supplier PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentation - Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment - Ensure the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been archived in PRIME - Send QR/QADP to the site or customer (as defined by the project) after it has been archived in PRIME to aid in receipt and turnover of equipment - Work with Westinghouse Logistics to arrange for shipment Skills - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering - Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development Benefits - Comprehensive Medical benefits which could include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage and Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions options - Wellness Programs designed to support employees in maintaining their health and well-being including Employee Assistance Program providing support for our employees and their household members - 401(k) with Company Match Contributions to support employees' retirement - Paid Vacations and Company Holidays - Opportunities for Flexible Work Arrangements to promote work-life balance - Educational Reimbursement and Comprehensive Career Programs to help employees grow in their careers - Global Recognition and Service Programs to celebrate employee accomplishments and service - Employee Referral Program Company Overview - Westinghouse Electric Company provides innovative and secure nuclear technology solutions.
