Title and Summary Director, Strategy & Operations F/T Overview Help establish Business Unit annual objectives and identify KPIs. Work with stakeholders to establish tracking and cadence for reviews with the Chief Commercial Payments Officer. Role. • Coordinate and elevate executive engagements, including business reviews, leadership forums, all-hands calls, and global market visits for the Chief Commercial Payments Officer. • Deliver value through agenda design, strategic content development, presentation oversight, and alignment with regional leadership teams. • Partner across teams to synthesize insights, craft compelling narratives, and drive alignment on key priorities. • Support the creation of impactful, high-quality presentations for reviews with the C-suite, Board and Investor Community, including quarterly operating reviews, and strategic updates. • Enable fulfillment of organizational commitments, supporting cyclical imperatives such as corporate scorecard tracking, risk management, and other updates for senior leadership. • Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization including from CNPF and Finance to assess progress against strategic objectives, ensuring robust review processes and highlighting areas for improvement. • Lead dynamic, time-sensitive projects e.g. on strategy and help drive key initiatives and ad hoc asks from senior management. About You • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business or related and nine (9) years of experience in job offered or in management consulting or business roles, or related. • Qualifying experience must include at least five (5) years with each of the following. Payments Industry (e.g. 4 party model, cross border payments, etc.). Content /storytelling skills (presentations, meetings, email). Data Analysis & Reporting (Advanced MS Excel). Strategy and data presentations (PowerPoint and ThinkCell). Microsoft 365 software (Outlook, One Note, Teams) and must include at least three (3) years of experience with the following: Experience with structuring, prioritizing, and managing complex workstreams independently while mentoring and directing the contributions of analysts. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
