The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist supports the integration of existing systems by enabling seamless data exchange between partners using EDI. This role focuses on analyzing business requirements, creating and maintaining mapping documents for various transaction sets, testing data flows, and establishing and managing communication with trading partners to ensure accurate and efficient document exchange. Additionally, the specialist supports day-to-day EDI operations, including monitoring transactions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the ongoing reliability of EDI processes.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Analyzes and defines EDI requirements for clients, and ensure those requirements are met. - Consult with internal teams and clients in the capabilities of EDI to solve business needs. - Collaborate with internal teams and clients to test and move to production new EDI documents or enhancements to existing ones. - Develops and maintains communication links with trading partners and oversees integration of Systems. - Conduct process reviews to identify potential integration issues and gaps in system processes, ensuring best practices are followed while collaborating with the appropriate teams to implement effective resolutions and improvements. - Maintains up-to-date knowledge of EDI standards, technologies, and industry best practices. - Support day-to-day EDI operations and resolve any issues in a timely manner.   Required Skills/Abilities  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  - Organizational skills and attention to detail. - Advanced understanding and working knowledge of EDI formats and Internet functions. - Creative problem-solving skills, required to design processes and documents that meet the client’s individual needs. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.      Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required. - 3+ years of experience supporting Liaison EDI software.   Physical Requirements:  - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.    Travel Must be willing to travel to any additional trainings or conferences.    Benefits: - Competitive salary and bonus structure - Comprehensive health, dental, and retirement plans - Professional development opportunities - A dynamic and collaborative work environment   #WeAreHealthDelivered   Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
