Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Elementary Discipline Center Moderator to join our team at East Baton Rouge Parish School System. As a Moderator, you will play a critical role in providing academic and behavioral support to students, improving student success, and fostering a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in an intervention room setting
- Assist students with academic/learning processes, track assignments, and record attendance
- Supervise individuals and groups of students in various settings to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Respond to inquiries from students, instructors, administrators, and parents
- Maintain accurate student records and behavior reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to ensure student success
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; 48 college hours or Parapro Exam score of 450 or higher preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and individuals
- Proficient in student management and relationship building
- Experience working in leadership positions a plus
