About the position
The PMO Project Analyst plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role partners with Project Managers, Portfolio Leads, and cross-functional teams to manage project data, drive execution, and deliver actionable insights through reporting and analytics. The Project Analyst ensures project integrity, facilitates communication, and supports project-level visibility for leadership. This role will be hybrid based, 3x per week, from our Alpharetta, GA offices. Candidates should be within a commutable distance to the office as the role will require at least one (or more) onsite interview(s).
Responsibilities
• Support Project Managers and Portfolio Leads with data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Assist in project planning, including defining objectives, timelines, and resource needs.
• Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and financials using project management tools.
• Build and manage project schedules with key technology development and Go-To-Market (GTM) milestones.
• Facilitate project team meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions upon project closure
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to capture key metrics and insights.
• Deliver accurate, timely insights to support project execution and decision-making.
• Monitor revenue-generating projects using momentum trackers and report on sales pipeline performance.
• Prepare and distribute bi-weekly or monthly status reports to stakeholders.
• Administer project management tools (e.g., PPM Pro, Projectplace), including user support and training.
• Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy and hygiene across systems.
• Ensure integration between project tools and other organizational systems.
• Continuously improve reporting tools and processes for efficiency and clarity.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and artifacts (e.g., Project Charters, Stakeholder Registers).
• Assist in scheduling, meeting coordination, and stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate effective communication across project teams and leadership.
• Build collaborative relationships with PMs, product, vertical, analytics, and other stakeholders.
• Support Business Leads in setting up GTM plans and stage-gate readiness.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field. A strong academic foundation in business or technology supports analytical and strategic thinking.
• 2–5 years of experience in project analysis, coordination, or PMO support. Proven experience supporting strategic initiatives, managing project data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization. Ability to create pivot tables, dashboards, and reports that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation, presentations, and meeting coordination. Comfortable capturing meeting notes, preparing executive-level presentations, and managing stakeholder communications.
• Experience with project management tools such as PPM Pro, Projectplace, JIRA, Monday.com or MS Project Capable of building schedules, tracking milestones, and maintaining project documentation across platforms.
