About the Role: Entry-Level ONSITE Legal Assistant
We are excited to offer an entry-level legal assistant position that will provide you with hands-on experience in immigration law. As a Legal Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced attorneys, interface with clients, and contribute to the success of our firm. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of $24-$30 per hour, depending on your legal work experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with clients, responding to their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Write letters, memos, and other legal documents under the direction of our experienced attorneys
- Conduct legal research and analyze data to support our attorneys in their cases
- Assist with preparing and filing legal documents, such as petitions and applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both physical and digital
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A strong passion for the legal field, particularly immigration law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and team members effectively
- Basic knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges, with a positive and proactive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
