Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal partners and teams to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and software applications that meet business needs
- Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop complex reports, and perform data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients
- Design and develop software applications for internal clients
- Evaluate data needs for assigned projects, ensure data integrity and suitability, and determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods
- Turn data into actionable insights through reporting solutions
- Troubleshoot technical issues and present analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
- Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.)
- Excel
- Visual Basic for Applications
- SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
- Development Programming Languages (ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript)
- Development Database Languages (Transact SQL)
- Database Knowledge (MS SQL Server)
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with reporting platforms (WEBI, SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of blithequark systems, databases, and underlying information structures
- Database Knowledge (Hadoop, Oracle)
- Development Database Languages (Oracle PLSQL)
- Crystal Reporting experience
