This role is open to US Citizens or Permanent Residents living in metro NYC area.

• You will bring minimum of two years of experience as a lighting estimator working for a lighting distributor providing cost estimates for users within retail, hospitality, education, Super Markets, Auto Dealers, QSR, and/or education verticals.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Lighting Estimator. The Lighting Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare cost estimates for lighting projects. This role involves reviewing and understanding project requirements, selecting suitable lighting fixtures and controls, creating detailed lighting layouts, and specifying materials. Additional tasks include collaborating with project managers, sales teams, and suppliers, as well as preparing and submitting proposals and bids. The Lighting Estimator will also stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications
• Current or immediate most recent employer has to be a lighting distributor in order to be considered
• Experience in cost estimating, budget analysis, and project management
• Knowledge of lighting design, electrical systems, and relevant codes and standards
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Relevant certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field is a plus
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools

Remote role offering base salary between 70k to 90k DOE. plus bonus and comprehensive benefits
Must be willing to come to Long Island office once or twice a month to participate in events
