Job Overview and Responsibilities
As an Amazon Warehouse Associate in Las Vegas, you will play a critical role in our order fulfillment operations, working together with a talented team of professionals to ensure that customer orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and with the highest level of quality. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and putting away inventory in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Getting customer orders ready and packing them up for shipment, ensuring that all items are properly packaged and labeled
- Loading boxes into trucks for shipment, using scanners to read bar codes on products, and viewing prompts on screens to follow direction for some tasks
- Troubleshooting problems and ensuring that product meets quality requirements, using your analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
- Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers, and working at heights up to 35 feet, with equipment training and certification provided free of cost
- Lifting up to 49 pounds, pushing utility carts up to 60 pounds, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts, using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Adhering to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards, and participating in daily safety meetings to share tips and best practices with your team
