Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band Teacher to join our remote team in Illinois. As a Band Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to elementary students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Teach music to elementary students, including band, music theory, and appreciation

Essential Qualifications
- Illinois State certificate in the teaching field qualifying the teacher to teach at the elementary level
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Education or a related field
- Proven experience teaching music to elementary students
- Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and appreciation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and communicate with colleagues and administrators via technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Music Education or a related field
- Experience teaching music to students with diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of technology integration and educational software
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
