Job Summary
As a Caregiver/CNA with BrightStar Care, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in their homes. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, providing companionship, and helping to create a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. We are seeking experienced caregivers and CNAs who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation, to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients
- Run errands and perform other tasks as needed to support clients' daily needs
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns or issues to BrightStar Care staff
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including notes on clients' condition and any issues that arise
Essential Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have some experience as a caregiver or CNA, although we will provide training for the right candidate
- Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and pass a drug test
- Must have a smartphone and be able to use it to communicate with BrightStar Care staff and access client information
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in home care or a related field
- CNA certification or other relevant certifications, such as CPR or first aid
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overnight shifts and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
