About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Care Representative to join our amazing Contact Center team. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our potential customers, providing outstanding customer service and connecting them with the best-suited Independent Travel Agent to book their vacation. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, taking and making incoming and outgoing calls to generate leads and support independent business owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high call volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing prompt, courteous, and professional assistance to potential travel customers.
- Follow team scripts to leave voice messages and follow-up with travel leads accordingly.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with potential travel customers and Independent Agents.
- Accurately document customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries in our CRM system.
- Successfully transfer travel leads, connecting potential travelers with the appropriate Independent Agents.
- Assist with other tasks and special projects as required.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1-year experience working in a high-volume call center environment, providing outstanding customer service.
- High School Diploma.
- Previous experience in a high-volume call center, preferably in the travel industry or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to actively listen, empathize, and respond to customer needs effectively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a remote or virtual call center environment.
- Knowledge of the travel industry, including destinations, brands, and travel-related products.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications.
