Job Overview We're seeking an Experienced Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling transactions, assisting with product demonstrations, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Provide a positive and welcoming experience for our customers, addressing their concerns and answering their questions. - Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions with precision. Process transactions quickly and accurately, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. - Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Showcase our products and services, highlighting their features and benefits to our customers. - Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring products are readily available for customers. Ensure that our sales floor is well-organized and stocked, making it easy for customers to find what they need. - Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with your team to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly. - Assist in supervising junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative work environment. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge. - Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and provide change accurately. Process transactions quickly and accurately, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. - Promote sales by actively engaging with customers and suggesting additional products or services. Encourage customers to purchase additional products or services, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications We're looking for a candidate with: - Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred but not mandatory. If you have experience in customer service or cashier roles, we'd love to hear from you! However, if you're new to these roles, we're happy to provide training and support. - Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. You'll need to be accurate and efficient when handling cash transactions, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
