About the Role
As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide them with a distinctive and delightful experience. You'll be working on the frontline, interacting with customers, answering their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring that they leave the store satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
- Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale and suggesting trade-up and companion items.
- Operate the assigned cash register, process transactions, handle returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain accuracy in cash handling.
- Maintain a clean, well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays, and ensure compliance with company asset protection procedures.
- Implement visual merchandising strategies, including constructing and maintaining displays, completing resets and revisions as directed.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise, and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
- Provide customer service in specialized areas, such as the photo department, and assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders and delivering products to customers.
- Maintain a working knowledge of store systems and equipment, and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some of the essential qualifications include:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues.
