Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively assess customer needs, identifying opportunities to improve their experience and build strong relationships
- Manage accounts receivable, processing daily batches, and reconciling customer invoices and payments
- Research and resolve customer disputes, keeping customers informed throughout the resolution process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collect on past due balances, keeping accounts receivable current and minimizing outstanding debts
- Enter delivery or service work orders, ensuring timely and efficient completion of customer requests
- Maintain mandatory documents, filing them in our digital system and keeping them up to date as needed
- Assist the service manager in communicating with customers, providing updates on service tickets and status changes
- Maintain inventory of tanks, parts, and other service-related items, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
- Complete data entry of service tickets, ensuring accurate and timely recording of customer interactions
- Maintain DOT truck and employee records, scheduling tests and screenings as required
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects, preparing for new seasons and ensuring business continuity
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of customer service, accounting, and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience
- 1-3 years of customer service or other applicable work experience
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with others to achieve business objectives
- Must pass a background check and character reference checks
- Must have a minimum of three job-related references (non-family)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service work experience
- 1-3 years of accounts or accounts receivable work experience
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Business Office suite
