Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Generating retail sales by leveraging your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand our network.
- Learning and uncovering customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions to provide personalized solutions.
- Positioning product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
- Closing sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
- Continuously developing yourself through ongoing training and up-skilling in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
- Refining your sales skills through outbound calls to current blithequark customers interested in our products and services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of work experience, preferably in a sales or customer service role.
- The willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
- Openness to picking up additional shifts and earning more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
- Experience working in a commission-based environment.
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
- Customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a retail or sales environment.
- Knowledge of sales and customer service principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in sales and customer service software.

As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
- A competitive yearly salary range of $43,000-$56,000, consisting of both base pay and team-based commission, as well as individual incentives.

Applicants with varying degrees of skills and experience are encouraged to apply. We offer a $2500 sign-on bonus to new hires, paid out in two equal parts, with the first installment at the one-month point and the second 50% allocation following after nine months of working with blithequark.
