**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As the face of our organization, you will impact members' service experience by handling customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet, or written correspondence. **Key Responsibilities**
- Handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet, or written correspondence
- Engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex health insurance plans, tools, and resources
- Answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and other departments
- Triages resulting rework to appropriate staff
- Documents and tracks contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors
- Guides members through their plan of benefits, arenaflex policy and procedures, and has knowledge of resources to comply with regulatory guidelines
- Creates an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging the member to the fullest to champion for our members' best health
- Takes accountability to fully understand the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member
- Anticipates customer needs
- Provides the customer with related information to answer unasked questions, e.g., additional plan details, benefit plan details, member self-service tools, etc.
- Explains member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract
**Essential Qualifications**
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience
- Customer Service experience in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate
- Experience in a production environment
- Ability to reside within a 50-mile radius of New Albany, OH in the event of an outage, you may be asked to work onsite
