**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to customers visiting and/or contacting our department. You will be the first point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving their issues, and providing accurate information in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for receiving, recording, and distributing verbal and written work orders from various departments to service crews for Facilities Engineering, Custodial, and parking issues, prioritized based on urgency.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Receive, record, and distribute verbal and written work orders from various departments to service crews for Facilities Engineering, Custodial, and parking issues, prioritized based on urgency
* Coordinate with other facilities units to ensure follow-up and completion of work orders assigned
* Provide customer service to walk-up customers, as well as by phone and online work order submittal
* Maintain call quality by providing customers with accurate information in a timely and professional manner
* Provide tier-one customer service follow-up and ensures completion and close out of escalated service issues
* Issue university parking permits and U-Passes
* Distribute university-issued badges for Access Control
* Responsible for cash handling, including payment intake, providing change, preparation of receipt vouchers, daily balancing, and cash reconciliation
* Provide data entry within multiple databases and systems supporting the Facilities Management department
* Maintain a strong working knowledge of software, computer, and telephone systems as well as facilities terminology in assigning and/or dispatching work

**Grade and Salary Range**
* Grade: G05-H
* Salary Range: $17.03 - $24.61 / Hourly
