Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting the Medicare Appeal process, providing exceptional service to our customers, and resolving their questions, complaints, and requests in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and services, including departmental and operational protocols
- Utilizing automated systems to log and retrieve information, performing accurate and timely data entry of electronic faxes, and maintaining up-to-date records
- Receiving and responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email, fax, or mail, and communicating responses within required turnaround times
- Investigating and resolving customer problems, identifying and escalating difficult situations to the appropriate party, and ensuring that all issues are addressed in a professional and courteous manner
- Meeting or exceeding standards for call volume and service level per department guidelines, and continuously striving to improve performance and quality
- Initiating files by collecting and entering demographic, provider, and procedure information into the system, and serving as a liaison between Review Supervisors and external providers
- Maintaining logs and documenting the disposition of incoming and outgoing calls, and ensuring that all customer interactions are thoroughly documented and recorded
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of customer service or telephone experience in a similar call center environment or industry
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and external customers
- The ability to research and resolve issues related to Medicaid programs and service eligibility
- Fluency in Spanish and English (bilingual)
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in a medical office or other medical setting
- General knowledge of eligibility verification, Medicaid eligibility, and program requirements
- Familiarity with CPT and HCPCS codes
- PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Microsoft programs

Compensation and Benefits
