Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting passengers with reservations, inquiries, and various travel-related concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Complete data access and balancing functions
- Coordinate return items with contributors, doors vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated Accounting standard ledger balancing
- Work member cases/sports assigned
- Follow and maintain guidelines and approaches to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
- Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
- Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes and/or returns
- Process Stop Pays and Check Batching
- Complete daily balancing and department closing
- Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
- Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
- Communicate with the vendor to process fund transfers
- Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws
- Deposit check returns, research member back checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers
- Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate Excel and Word experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure
