**Job Summary:**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our specialty mail order pharmacy services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty drug treatment, handling new prescription requests and reorders, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve complex issues. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide phone support to patients receiving specialty drug treatment, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Handle new prescription requests and reorders, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
* Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure timely delivery of specialty medications
* Utilize Windows-based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications, to manage patient information and resolve issues
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License
* One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone
* One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
* One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology
* Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including prescription processing and medication management
