Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at Wayfair, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll work from home, handling a high volume of customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email. Your goal will be to provide solutions to customer problems, build relationships, and ensure that every interaction with Wayfair is a positive one.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, chat, and email, resolving customer issues and answering questions
- Handle a high volume of customer inquiries, typically 50-60 per shift
- Work in a fast-paced environment, often handling back-to-back calls
- Meet and exceed customer satisfaction and performance metrics
- Build relationships with customers, demonstrating empathy and understanding
- Use problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues in a first-contact resolution approach
- Navigate various software systems, tabs, and tools to quickly and effectively answer customer questions
- Escalate complex issues to ensure prompt resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying areas for process enhancements
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Experience working in a customer service environment, preferably in a home-based setting
- Proficient in Windows operating systems or equivalent
- Ability to work in a distraction-free environment, with minimal interruptions
- Pass a background check and new hire assessment
