**The Role**
As our first Customer Support Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customer support function. You'll be responsible for:
* Communicating with customers via live chat, email, and phone, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support
* Continuously learning about the features of our app, the Shopify ecosystem, and emerging trends to stay ahead of the curve
* Gathering and summarizing product feedback from merchants, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting innovative solutions
* Collaborating with our development team to prioritize feature requests and drive product development
* Taking on non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, and creating mockups, based on your interests and strengths
**Essential Qualifications**
* Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
* A genuine passion for helping others, with a strong desire to solve problems and make a positive impact
* Proficiency in discussing technical concepts at a high level, with a willingness to learn and grow
* Basic knowledge of CSS and JS, with a willingness to learn more and adapt to new technologies
* Ability to write technical documentation and articles, with a focus on clarity and accuracy
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Ability to work at least 4 hours overlap with GMT+7 (9am-6pm), with flexibility to accommodate different time zones
**Nice to Have**
* Experience working with Shopify, especially in theme development or customization
* Experience working with B2B SaaS, with a focus on customer support and success
* Additional languages, particularly French, Spanish, and Italian
* Skills in marketing, SEO, video editing, or other areas that can benefit a startup
