Job Overview
The Information Association within blithequark's DTC business is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our Pack Trial and Experimentation and Analysis group. This team plays a vital role in supporting the blithequark Pack, which includes multiple streaming services in a single product. This initiative is critical to the expansion of DTC's live streaming features in the US. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Data Solutions, to provide high-visibility insights and recommendations that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate intimately with business leaders to define the most pressing business challenges on Pack trends and drivers and develop analytical strategies to address these questions
- Help to create a continuous insights pipeline, ensuring that all stakeholders have a continuous stream of Pack intelligence
- Perform comprehensive trend analyses, evaluating the contributions of drivers from every possible angle
- Define and analyze audience segments to continue driving Pack growth
- Collaborate with other Analysis teams to understand and leverage all relevant Pack data from various sources, combining insights into a cohesive, meaningful story
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on analytical work experience with R/Python/SAS (or another statistical analysis tool) and SQL
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and other quantitative methodologies, including but not limited to linear and logistic regression, significance testing, data preparation for modeling, and segmentation techniques
- Experience manipulating large datasets, interpreting data trends, and using a variety of different data sources and tools
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, etc.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations
- Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to tell a story with data and to organize findings into meaningful proposals
- Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and customer data
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based services
- Experience working with Marketing teams or in the Advertising landscape
