Key Responsibilities

- Lead informal teams to apply advanced data integration philosophies and tools to large datasets to create solutions that can be used in descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analysis.
- Drive communication with business leaders across multiple and simultaneous projects to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Drive the definition and communication of solutions and decisions to stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
- Serve as an informed authority for data assets and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of data assets being used by business users in self-service environments.
- Support the ongoing development of the arenaflex data science center and community, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Perform other work duties as directed by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Intermediate knowledge of both inductive and deductive reasoning and problem-solving approaches, with the ability to apply critical thinking skills to complex business problems.
- Transitional knowledge in assessing and applying suitable data analysis and statistical method(s) for a business issue, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision making.
- Transitional knowledge of acquiring and consuming data in both social and non-SQL databases, with experience working with large datasets and complex data systems.
- Partial knowledge in integrating, storing, and processing large amounts of data necessary for analysis and modeling, with a strong foundation in data management principles.
- Proficiency in at least one data programming language and open-source tools, such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience working with data visualization tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one data integration and business intelligence tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Informatica, with experience working with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Skilled in critical thinking and project management abilities, with experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to adapt well to different situations and change approaches/philosophy if necessary to actually and effectively meet goals, demonstrating flexibility and a growth mindset.
