Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions by applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data. You will analyze customer behavior, anticipate content engagement, and streamline our content launch and episode release methodology. Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions.
- Analyze customer behavior (e.g., type preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet customer needs and untapped content opportunities.
- Anticipate content engagement to inform procurement decisions.
- Streamline our content launch and episode release methodology.
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention.
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to stakeholders to drive business forward.
- Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 2 years of data analysis experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python.
- Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems.
- Exceptional data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication.
