Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Data Entry and Receiving Clerk to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our receiving department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of purchase orders, receipts, and other related documents. Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process purchase orders based on daily and monthly receipt metrics
• Collaborate with Project Managers to obtain updates on open orders
• Work with the Accounts Payable Office to address upcoming requests
• Contact suppliers for information regarding purchase orders
• Create and update open purchase orders report on a daily basis to provide visibility on the status of orders
• Assign team tasks based on open purchase report
• Update and manage receiving and open purchase order metric dashboard
• Send accounting managers monthly reports based on office performance
• Update and manage performance improvement log
• Accommodate unvouchered receipts

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred) or an Associate's Degree
• 2-5 years of experience in receiving or purchasing
• Microsoft Office Suite experience (especially Excel)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• High level of self-motivation and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience in the roofing industry
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
