Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced data entry coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity. As a data entry coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing and organizing Prescriber Evaluation Referral Forms (PERF), gathering internal and external prescribing data, and coordinating prescriber and patient mailings within unique time frames. You will also create and release COMPASS and RHM communications, generate ad hoc reports for the prescriber assessment team, and assist in presentations to the Integrity and Patient Safety teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze managed substance orders placed manually at the shop level to determine suspicious ordering patterns and take appropriate actions to educate the user on proper ordering approaches
- Generate reports and provide data to DEA dealers on store dispensing patterns, prescriber or patient profiles, and other relevant information within a 48-hour window
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of issues such as managed substance ordering approaches, Good Faith Dispensing policies, and DEA licensing requirements
- Assist shops and field supervision with questions via email and phone on various related topics
- Collaborate with analysts to develop and review store audits for managed substance losses, ensuring that losses are reported within the required time frame and with 100% accuracy
- Manage prescriber price ticket decision system, validate and update prescriber data, and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure that any prescription blocking is legitimate
- Research and analyze requests for increases to managed substance allocations, making informed decisions based on collaboration with Pharmacy Managers, Supervisors, and item vendors
- Utilize skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and database querying to assist analysts in the creation of presentations and training for store staff and supervision
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Required certification in Certified Pharmacy Technician as granted by PTCB
- Experience with prescriber licensing requirements (NPI, DEA, and state licenses)
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with querying databases and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, or exceptions
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) suitable for the needs of the audience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with internal arenaflex systems, including SIMS and IC
- Experience with managed substance ordering approaches within arenaflex (PDQs, RxQuick Order, and Passport)
