Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining strategic plans, processes, and frameworks to analyze and integrate various data sets, including structured and unstructured data. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain strategic plans, processes, and frameworks to analyze and integrate various data sets, including structured and unstructured data.
• Lead cross-functional teams, oversee project executions, and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to meet business objectives.
• Proactively identify and address issues, including root cause analysis and remediation opportunities.
• Design and develop software programs, algorithms, dashboards, data tools, and queries to clean, model, integrate, and evaluate datasets.
• Stay up-to-date with new scientific techniques and technologies, and apply them to drive business growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with functional specialty units to drive business solutions and direction.
• Establish credibility with partners while managing expectations, and ensure regular, consistent, and effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
• May develop and manage budgets for functional areas, and oversee financial planning to meet business objectives.
• Stay current with industry-leading best practices, and bring them to the attention of the leadership team for innovative application.
• Allocate available resources to meet operating targets, and develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline.
• Experience with analytical and statistical software like SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, and others to perform analysis and interpret data.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and open-source data science and statistics packages like Python, R, Spark, etc.
• Experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, customers, and vendors) stakeholders to develop strategies that meet office objectives within budget and timelines.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline.
• Experience communicating at the executive level.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
