Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced entry-level Event Assistant to join our team. As an Event Assistant, you will be the public face of the organizations we represent, attending in-person and virtual meetings, sharing our charity partners' core message, and building lasting relationships with community members. Key Responsibilities
As an Event Assistant, your primary duties will include:
- Being the public face of the organizations we represent, attending events, and interacting with community members
- Keeping updated on industry trends and regularly informing sales and marketing of noteworthy news items and opportunities for improvement
- Attending in-person and virtual meetings to increase knowledge on our charity partners and their services
- Sharing our charity partners' core message in a professional and meaningful manner, highlighting their mission and impact
- Promoting our charity partners' events and services through social media, email marketing, and other channels
- Passing out brochures and flyers to further the education of our local communities about our charity partners and their services
- Building lasting relationships with community members, fostering a sense of community and social responsibility
- Assisting with event planning, coordination, and execution, including logistics, marketing, and fundraising efforts
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
