We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team, responsible for managing bookkeeping capabilities related to sales and use tax assessment and permit compliance processes. As a key member of our Corporate Expense Division, you will work closely with Senior Duty Bookkeepers to ensure the completion of daily accounting and tax activities. This is a full-time, remote position, offering a competitive salary of $30-$35 per hour and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home in the USA.
This position typically reports to a Senior Manager and has no direct reports. As a Financial Accountant, you will work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve common goals.
Occasional overnight travel may be required, less than 10% of the time. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA, with minimal travel requirements.
Most of the time will be spent sitting in a comfortable position, with regular opportunities to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
The work environment is located in a comfortable indoor area, with minimal exposure to unpleasant conditions. You will have access to modern technology and equipment, including phone and document management systems.
The knowledge, skills, and abilities are normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
