The GM&NS Pricing Group at arenaflex is responsible for revenue from the discount business, one of our largest revenue sources. This team collaborates closely with various business partners to determine the best rates that encourage merchants to accept arenaflex while improving service and merchant satisfaction. By driving revenue and profit growth through customer-centric pricing principles, flexible pricing architectures, and innovative pricing solutions, we aim to make a significant impact on the company's success.
Job Responsibilities
As a part-time data entry and financial analyst at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in forecasting and reporting company revenues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating Canadian forecasts for businesses reducing revenue, tracking monthly performance against forecast, and identifying areas of change. You will also create a list of discounted business income for the Canadian region.
- Driving the design and development process across multiple regional cost groups for all relevant reporting and forecasting activities.
- Supporting external audits, including investigating issues discovered, communicating with local value teams, and managing vendor relationships to discuss and resolve issues.
- Performing ad-hoc data analysis to measure discount rates and gain insights that inform business decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- More than two years of experience in financial analysis or business payment and/or other finances.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent skills in Excel and a strong understanding of financial concepts, including forecasting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create best-in-class financial models and maximize value from large amounts of financial information. Knowledge of programming languages (such as SAS/SQL) is required.
