**Job Summary**
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will work closely with our team to analyze data, identify trends, and develop recommendations to improve our Quality Control processes. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets, creating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Your expertise will help us maintain low costs, modernize our operations, and improve compliance, giving us a competitive edge in the industry.
**Responsibilities and Expectations**
The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst will be responsible for:
* Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in optimal data collection, validation, and analysis on data components.
* Helping to create and deliver results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
* Assisting in exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
* Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
* Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
* Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
* Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
* Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
* May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Analytics, or Business Administration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with care and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences.
* Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, a plus.
* Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
* Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications, a plus.
* Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework, a plus.
* Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment.
* Ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual.
* Past internship experience in a related field, a plus.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
* Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
